Kollywood superstar Suriya is making headlines owing to his upcoming release Soorarai Pottru. Suriya was last seen on the big screen in filmmaker K V Anand’s Kaappaan. Now, the film’s music composer GV Prakash had a small surprise in the store yesterday evening for Suriya fans.
The musician released the teaser of ‘Maara Theme‘ from the film crooned by Suriya himself on his Twitter account. The music director along with the teaser video also had a tweet related to the full song release, as he tweeted: “#maaratheme releasing in a week #SooraraiPottru”

Talking about the 11-second video, at the start one gets to see GV Prakash giving some important tips to Suriya, following which the actor can be seen fully engrossed in singing with full intensity.
The high intense motivational track ‘Maara Theme‘ is one of the much-awaited songs of the year, as it has been in news from last year, all thanks to Suriya’s vocals.

Talking about the film, the Suriya starrer has actress Aparna Balamurali as the film’s leading lady. Soorarai Pottru also stars Bollywood veteran actors Jackie Shroff and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles along with Karunas and Mohan Babu.
Reportedly, Soorarai Pottru is a biopic based on the life of Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath. Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara and it is been co-produced by Suriya and Guneet Monga under 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment.
The film is slated to release in summer this year.
