Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi trailer features Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif in major roles and Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh support them. It’ll be out today but here’s a detailed review for the fans and it will not kill your excitement to watch the same.
Clocked at around 4 minutes 13 seconds, the trailer starts with Ajay Devgn narrating about how Mumbai has been a city that stands tall despite multiple critical attacks on it. Amidst the blazing gunfire and a remixed version of ‘Aaya Police’ theme, we see Veer Sooryavanshi (Akshay Kumar) getting down from a chopper.
Soorya goes into the mission mode to eliminate the camouflaged sleeper cells in the country. By now, everyone is aware of how Rohit Shetty is turning this into a cop-universe and those will wait for the explosive cameos of Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. For them, the cameos in the trailer will do nothing but add up to your excitement for the film.
Script wise, the story has elements of a Neeraj Pandey film and could turn out to be a thriller in disguise of a commercial potboiler. This will resurrect the chaos and madness single screens were missing for a long time. Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji did bring back the audience but Baaghi 3 and Sooryavanshi will make sure to retain them for some time now.
This is the film audience deserves and are craving for and Sooryavanshi will fill the void. It’s been a while Akshay Kumar fans have seen him in such a commercial avatar and this surely won’t disappoint them, get set with your ‘seetis’.
